UL Lafayette - NASA CubeSat Launch Initiative
Tue, 02/23/2016 - 10:37amDr. Paul Darby, and Co-PI's Dr. Fekih in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Dr. Hollerman in Physics, were successful in winning an award from NASA, under the NASA CubeSat Launch Initiative, for the free rocket launch of the CAPE-3 Cube Satellite, currently in design and development. According to NASA sources, we were # 9 out of 20 selected for manifesting, and the launch of the CAPE-3 CubeSat could be manifested as early as Mid 2017.
